St. Ives Green Tea Scrub Review

I’ve been looking for a way to get rid of my pesky little blackheads without terribly irritating my skin. I’ve tried many different scrubs and strips and even a few diy masks, but either they didn’t work or they really irritated my skin. Finally I found the “St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub” and decided to give it a try since so many of their other products have worked so well before. My first impression was the smell, it smelled really good, but not overpowering. I was worried at first ’cause I’ve tried so many other products that had a lot of fragrance and they made my skin break out really bad. The bottle says that the exfoliation factor is ‘moderate’ and it was indeed much more grainy than the facewash I use everyday, the “St Ives Nourished and Smooth Oatmeal Scrub + Mask” which is ‘gentle’. I also like that the facewash is green, since its green tea. Anyways, it was very easy to rub into my skin and it didn’t burn, which is a big problem I usually have when trying new things. When I was rinsing off my face I found that it took a lot of work, since it’s so grainy, but it eventually all came off. Right away I noticed a lot of my blackheads were gone, not all of them, but most. Over the next few days I used it a few more times and now all but one or two blackheads are gone, and my skin looks so much better. Overall I was very impressed with this product and will definitely re-purchase it when I run out. I can’t wait to try out more St. Ives products, seeing as most of them work really well and don’t irritate my sensitive skin.
